Raisin Website Error on Application
MangoBoy
I have just applied for an ICICI account via Raisin as suggested in todays MSE news letter. Just as the application completed I saw the following error:
Sorry!
The page you were looking for cannot be found
Please try one of the following steps to try to resolve the issue:
See if the URL in your browser's address bar looks right
Visit the Raisin UK homepage to find the page you want to visit
If you reached this page from a link, please contact us to report a broken link.
Anyone else had this problem? I'm not sure if the site is ready for the mass market.

I signed up for the same product over the weekend without any issues.0

I tried to apply for an account but was refused but they don't give a reason, due to data protection apparently - because I can't know my own information without my consent probably.0

I believe they started to 'throttle' the applications - because 50 quid per application was too good. Both my wife and I have tried today, and were not 'eligible' (we meet all the criteria they listed), but they won't tell you what the issue is. what a waste of time...0

My wife and I both set up accounts today with Raisin but our applications to get an ICICI account were rejected. Never refused a financial service previously. We seem to meet the requirements given in the Raisin FAQs.
Thank you for applying for a ICICI Bank UK Fixed Term Deposit through Raisin UK.
Unfortunately, following our review of your Account Application, we are unable to open an Account for you.
If you would like to understand more about the eligibility requirements for opening an account with ICICI Bank UK through Raisin UK, please refer to our eligibility requirements in the FAQs on our website.
Once again, we thank you for showing your interest in opening a ICICI Bank UK Fixed Term Deposit through Raisin UK.0 -
yep... we both tried also another bank with them and also 'rejected' despite having mortgages, credit cards and current accounts....0

If you check out the main Raisin thread, people have said they have been rejected as their name and/or address didn't match exactly with the format Raisin expected.

Thank you... I tried fiddling with address lines that and it worked... weird people they are....0 -
I experienced problems applying for ICICI account with Raisin. I set up an account 11 days ago and transferred deposit the same day. My bank confirmed transfer details.
I received notification from Raisin that action was required to fund my account. I contacted them 3 times via their secure customer portal about status of my deposit. I have yet to receive a reply.
Five business days elapsed and I received notification from Raisin that my application had been cancelled. When I received no reply via my customer portal, I also sent two messages to their Customer Services. I was informed customer services would get back to me. Iam still awaiting a reply about my deposit.0 -
I applied last week with no issues - perhaps just try again today? or check for any errors on your application0
