Hi I have had a CCTV system fitted by a company of Facebook (Yes I know now) 7th June 2018
Paid by bank transfer on completion of the work
Having since having the system fitted i have had these issues and only 2 response's from CCTV company one time he came out and offered very little help and admitted the 6MP IR would be too powerful for what i wanted and the second time he told me he would come out and lower the cameras in a weeks time as a family member was ill i have since tried to contact him and received no response.
This is a list of my issues and unsure how to approach the situation.

We agreed on a site visit that the camera’s I had chosen where ok for what I wanted to pick up face’s at night coming to my door for the police to ID them
After installation it transpired that the inferred was far too powerful for the short distances being used and the faces were overexposed as a result
I told him what Dahua has said and a CCTV forum about turning the IR down
The only option he offered was to switch the night time vision to colour this turned out to be totally unsuitable as you could not see anything at night except for when the outside light came on.
The cameras fitted where in fact 4MP and not the 6 MP ordered i have a receipt stating i have paid for 6MP camera system
Yes he offered to swap them only after I proved to him they were the wrong cameras

The 6MP would have made the IR just as bad if not worse than the 4 MP to which Paul agreed and offered me a £20 good will gesture which I didn’t accept.
I have since found out the camera system he has installed is £440 fitted by him and not the £550 he has charged
All the setting up of the cameras has been done by myself after i researched how to and when I showed him the camera Manual he wanted know where I got it from.
There was an issue with my neighbour on the day of fitting and it was a few days later when i told Paul i had set up the privacy mask as no mention of this was made on the day also the ICO information given by him was not correct
Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.
