Firstly, slander is verbal, libel is written.
Secondly I'm afraid it can still be libellous even if true (ridiculous, but there we are!)
Thirdly, your 2. is a good point that the "smartestmanalive" seemed totally oblivious of: we don't even know who is being talked about!
