6 month rule - HELP

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I do not wish for this to thread to become technical so will try and keep it as simple as possible and would like some advice on how the below theoretical scenario would play out (vehicle was parked at a train station)...

1 - Parking Charge Notice found on windscreen on 1st April 2018
2 - Parking Charge Notice was appealed and rejected by Indigo (surprise)
3 - Zzps sent demanding letter 31 July 2018
4 - Assumption is that "solicitors" will follow up from Zzps with a fancy letter in August
5 - Email ping pong has been happening but no admission of the driver

There is lots of talk about playing ping pong for 6 month from the date of ticket, but could someone please explain the reason behind the 6 months?

What should be done on the anniversary of 6 months?

Does doing absolutely nothing for 6 months work as well?

How successful is the above?

Thanks in advance, as always great work!

6 months is the period when a penalty notice for breaking bylaws times out and so its too late to take it to Magistrates Court

as stations are covered by bylaws , then this is why we say string it out past 6 months

Ignore may work but we recommend slowly engaging with them in this 6 month period so that they dont try and take it further , like a protracted negotiation where you are being obstinate with them

after 6 months you tell them to cease and desist and destroy all data under the GDPR because its too late under bylaws

we rate success as meaning that nothing comes of it , no court cases in either the Magistrates court (6 months) or in Civil Court (6 years)

we havent seen either as yet , so successful SO FAR

if you need further info, read the INDIGO train station threads over the last 12 months on here, its all be debated endlessly

Come back in November. Until then this is all drivel.
