Chuffed to bits with my second win last month, although loved all my prizes as always.

I've broken a 4 year record and won absolutely nothing in July. It's the first time since 2013 where I haven't won a single prize every month. I think this is a reflection on the number of people comping and that I am entering less as not liking the prizes on offer.

Still enjoying what I do though and the total so far this year isn't too shabby.

We were chosen as one of 5 finalist families in the Railcard Summer of Fun competition. The awards were in London so we got an all expenses trip there including hotel stay. Once there, they announced that they couldn’t chose between the finalists, so they split the prize between us all. We ended up with enough train tickets for 3 return journeys as a family, a VIP trip on the London Eye, a trip to Madame Tussaud’s and a bag of goodies for each of my boys.

I also won a cuddly Groot toy and a £1 Amazon Voucher in July!
