The front garden sticks out about 1 meter at the front of the house and goes around a bit down the side of the house - so maybe 7 or 8 square meters. Want to turn all the grass into gravel. Any ideas on the approx cost? have no idea if its a £300 or £1k type job for a pro. Im only looking to get 1 quote because i like the guy but what to expect cost wise?

What's the guys occupation?
Landscaper expect to pay £200 per day.0 -
It will also depend on whether you want decorative gravel or something more substantial with a sub base for driving a car on for example.0

Similar to keith969's response you can get the larger slate chippings but they can be sharp in some places and a little more uncomfortable.
In any event whether it is gravel, pea shingle, slate chippings cats (and foxes) seem to do their business on them."I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0 -

I read that if you put pepper down cats down like it, you just have to put it down every week or so depending on rain. ??0 -
