Advice on switching suppliers

Just doing the annual search to see if it is best to change supplier. We were with BG for many years and then changed to Sainsburys 3 years ago who have been brilliant with customer service and up until now their prices have been great.
They have emailed us the prices for when our current tariff ends next month and it looks like it will go up by about £20 per month.
Started my search and some of the lesser known companies are coming out cheaper, but I am always a bit concerned leaping into the unknown. Has anyone had dealings with Green Network Energy? Or can anyone tell me companies that are good and ones to avoid. It is the customer service that worries me the most, if we have cause to ring up or if things don't go to plan.
Thanks in advance
