If you want to check the current status of the charge you could login to the PE website and go through the motions as if to pay (obviously you don't pay!) and find out where things are.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
