eBay and PayPal

As per Craig1981 says, you can only hold one type of each paypal account otherwise you breach their terms and conditions and are likely to end up with a frozen paypal account and your funds held for 180 days while they 'investigate'.
If you try and close your current paypal account it will take a minimum of 180 days to do so as it will technically be open until the last possible date a claim against it can be made, so you won't have time to close it and reopen another to comply with the rules.
Ebay and paypal seem to treat different people in different ways, but looking at the community boards, paypal appear to forbid use of their accounts once bankruptcy is notified, so selling on ebay will be out.
You could always try selling on Facebook marketplace or apps like Shpock instead as they are done on trust, although around 2/3rds of my sale son them involve paypal as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
