My Journey To Early Retirement

So I am now officially 50 years young.
First day back in work after my holiday and I have found it hard going, used to an afternoon nap. :rotfl: I was offered an interview for the job I applied for however I have decided not to attend after weighing up the pros and cons.
Need to get back into making my small payments and all the other money saving things I was doing before I went away.
Looking forward to payday on Friday.0 -
Small payment of £1.70 made to Barclaycard, I need to property work out how much I have overpaid to update my signature.
Today was a NSD. Will have to buy fuel tomorrow as I have a meeting I need to attend in another town. Took lunch and a snack into work today, getting back into the habit.
I have also been sorting out a pile of my own clothes to list on my personal eBay account and if these sell the money can go towards Barclaycard. Will list on Sunday on a seven day auction.
Dinner will be something with tomatoes this evening as we still have sooo many in the greenhouse. I have given loads away and made spicy tomato soup, as well as tomato sauce. Need to look for more tomato recipies,0 -
eBay and PayPal on personal account are linked up.0

Really need to update more regularly. Have had a few computer issues that have not helped.
On a brighter not I have paid off £5500 to Halifax C.C so one debt down. :j Funds came from a PPI claim I didn't know I had. I knew I never had PPI on any of my old credit cards however I did have on my loans which I did not realise. Really surprised about the amount I received back.
So I really need to get my head back in the game and start clearing more of the debt. I have made a payment of £40.00 to Barclaycard today, first over payment I have made for a while.I also really need to get my big girl pants on and work out my debt total. I will do this before the end of the week and post the amounts.
Few items listed on my personal eBay account today so fingers crossed they will sell and I really need to get listing on my business account. Which is how I intend to spend the rest of the afternoon until its time to collect the grandchildren from school.0 -
