Returning a mattress

I have bought a mattress online. It was described as Extra Firm. It really isn't and after two nights I have a severe backache.
I want to return it but the company says No as it has been used.
What are my rights?

!!!8216;Extra firm!!!8217; is entirely subjective.
You have used it, therefore they can deduct from your refund to he depreciation in value between a new mattress and a second hand mattress which could be sizeable.
You should have laid on it whilst in its protective plastic to work out whether it was suitable for you or not. It!!!8217;s also highly unlikely that your backache is due to the mattress0 -
Hygiene reasons come into play on this one so no chance of returning it.
There are many threads regarding mattresses on here and none of them go in your favour.0 -
Can you prove its not Extra Firm is the key .
Usual faqs on a new mattress are 30 days for you to bed in .
Soft can give backache as can to firm .0
