Pointing Brick Wall In Tight Space?

Looking to get wall built within a foot of neighbors conservatory side wall but bricklayer says no chance of pointing on hidden side with 1 ft or less of space.
Is this true or is their a way around it, although it will not be very visible i would still like it neat in case they remove the conservatory in the future.

Do the pointing as it is going up, any decent bricklayer can build a wall properly from the inside.0

Are you a brickie? I think there may be some with reservations about that.
When relatives did it, they had their reasons for being deliberately untidy, (refusal of access, plenty of space) but I seem to remember Doozergirl saying that achieving a good finish overhand is tricky.0 -
I've seen some awful overhand work, so it will really be down to the experience of the layer.0
