Restoring the surface of white plastic garden table

Options
I have washed the surface of this regularly with Flash and over time it seems to have removed the original slightly shiny protective surface meaning that grubby marks are getting engrained.

Any idea how I can remove them now and what I might use to restore the original protective surface? . It wasn't an expensive piece of garden furniture but still eminently useable - just very unsightly to look at, looking permanantly dirty, even when the surface has been cleaned.

Do NOT try & use a power washer it will completely ruin it.

Probably cheaper and less energy to just replace, most plastic garden furniture has a limited life time as the sun always fades them.

Yes but am trying to do my bit to save the planet and use less plastic! The table is still, perfectly functional, just slightly unsightly now.

(I do hope my other half doesn,t take a similar view, throw me away and replace me just because I'm not as pleasant on the eye as I once was when I was new :rotfl:).

If you must use it and don't agree with looking at it, the tablecloth option is your best. Other options won't be moneysaving particularly, neither will they look that great, they may also contribute to the planet's problems.

I use mould and mildew remover on my upvc plastic gas box. It was all discoloured and scratched. Really comes up nice.
