Unsolicited parcel - Asos

Hi all,
I don't know if I've posted this in the right place but here goes.
About a month ago I received a text saying it was from ASOS, they had attempted to send me payment info for 'my purchase' but couldn't. The text quoted my email address which was almost correct.
I thought it was spam so ignored it. I hadn't ordered anything from ASOS.
A couple of days later a parcel arrived in an ASOS bag with a dress (in a style I would never wear) and miles too small. I hadn't done anything with it and more or less forgot about it. Just now, I've received a text message saying payment is due in two days.
I'm really confused as this is something I haven't ordered ( I don't have an ASOS account) so this company has my name, phone number, home address and almost has my email address. Any advice? It just seems really bizarre.

I'm hoping your first port of call, like me would have been to contact ASOS and see what was going on.
What did they say?0 -
This sounds more like a scam to me rather than something genuinely from ASOS. As above I'd contact ASOS (via their web site contact details) and see what they have to say.0
