The whole point of using an agent is to use their expertise in helping you decide what to book. You chose the wrong agent clearly and they are now attempting to cover their backs. You asked the questions because you needed to know, they answered without checking, in legal terms they made negligent misstatements. the obligation to exercise reasonable care and skill has existed far longer than any new Package Travel Regulations and from your version of events, they have manifestly failed in respect of the meals and the luggage, they have booked the basic cheapest flights which might work for someone going for 2 or 3 nights but clearly not for a week, although much as I like Disney, that seems a very long time!

You are clearly getting nowhere so make a formal complaint to the pre-departure team at ABTA on 0203 117 0599 or online. On the facts, there appears to have been a breach of the ABTA Code of Conduct which states

Accurate Information 1A) Make every effort to ensure that accurate information is provided to enable Clients to exercise an informed judgement in making their choice of Travel Arrangements.

ABTA Members shall:

Suitable Arrangements 2A) Make every effort to ensure that the Travel Arrangements sold to their Clients are compatible with their Clients!!!8217; individual requirements.
