Bermuda shorts. Common as business attire in some hot climates. If the dress code doesn't specify a tie then these work with a short-sleeved, pressed dress shirt - think Naval officers. I have a pair in chino material which I wore to the office last week.Precisely.
Though personally I think management should say something like smart nearly knee length shorts.I need to think of something new here...0 -
I went out with a friend to a local hotel for a pot of tea and a gossip last week and there was a male restaurant staff member wearing a black skirt. It had box pleats, a bit like a kilt. He wore it with a white shirt, black shoes and socks. I was a bit surprised at first, then thought so what? As long as he is doing his job properly it didn't seem to matter, in that environment.
