Thanks. Unfortunately, the phone I use is top of the range, latest option from Samsung so I can assure it it isn't that.

I've just ran the same test using Chrome Browser, Edge Browser and the native Samsung browser. All three are the same.

So two of us are using four different devices and seeing the same on all of them but you on two devices, both more up to date that our four devices doesn't show the same. Something doesn't add up here, the android device I tried also has Samsung's native browser and chrome and it shows up in both there and in safari on both my Apple devices.

The restrictions need to be displayed CLEARLY on the page before the buy button is pressed. This way the purchaser has had clear indication of the ticket restrictions BEFORE deciding to purchase. Even the PC version doesn't do this. The front page offer has a buy now button, but no restrictions of the ticket. However, once you press the buy now button the restrictions are clearly advertised on the next page for a PC.. Not for the mobile browser.. Again, I've just checked this on a friends iphone 6s and his browser does exactly what the android browser does.

Just to clarify.. (I wished I could post screen grabs to show you..lol)

The ASA rues state that the restrictions of the ticket MUST be clearly shown before the BUY button is pressed. If there is a restriction of space, such as text etc. They allow a separate page / link to contain the restriction information, however, if the offer is hosted on the companies own website, they wouldn't class this as restricted space, therefore the restrictions must be clearly shown before the BUY button is pressed.

Without seeing what you are looking at, I'm assuming you are clicking the buy button, this opens up to a page where you can enter the number of tickets required with a separate clickable link that says INFO. If you click that link, you are correct the restrictions appear, but this by the ruling is too far removed from the purchase process.

Ah.. I've found the issue. They are linking to two different pages. If you use the banner add (main advert that scrolls across the page) and click that buy button.. you will see that the purchase process is different...

I assume you have gone to the top of the page and clicked tickets>season pass> ?

Have a go and you will see what I mean.
I ordered from the banner advert on the page.....

So thanks, you've just pointed out another issue that I'd need to report to the ASA.....

I give up - clear and visible to me on both main and mobile websites before progressing beyond 1st page

Good luck and let us know how you get on in court :rotfl:

ETA I've seen you're 'banner' reason and when I click on that on PC it's even clearer :rotfl:

But even on the original page it has the restriction listed directly below the buy now button. It has more than one buy now button but the first one is before it even tells you what you do get as part of the season pass, as soon as you scroll down and read what is actually included it has the buy button with the correct info......or did you choose to click buy now without reading the details of what you were actually buying and just assumed what was/wasn't included? Even on a PC browser there isn't enough room on the screen to have all of that information by the buy now button without needing to scroll and read it all.

    This is clear user error.

OK, we will have to agree to disagree. However, the ASA agree with me that the restrictions are not advertised on the screen. I believe it's related to the banner vs drop down menu option. If you click the buy button in the banner advertisement, my phone, the ASA phone and two other peoples phones here, all get directed to a page with no restrictions. However, if you use the drop down option from the top of the page, then choose tickets, then season pass. It goes to a completely different page and yes, it shows the restrictions.

Just upload them to a photo sharing site and post a broken link here. Someone can then make it a 'clicky' link

Sorry you are wrong. But as I said, we will have to agree to disagree.

If I could get permission for posting links, i could show you a video clearly showing what I'm talking about.

You don't need permission ... simply break the link (e.g. youtube .com/xxxxxxx)
