Temporary Weatherproofing Of Plug Socket

Long Story Short!
Double wall socket will be exposed to the elements for a couple of weeks due to a porch replacement and thunderstorms are possible in the area.
I have covered the sockets with a plastic bag and bin liner followed by Gorilla tape to try to bond the bags over the sockets to the brick wall.
Don't know if this will hold if a storm hits though, i imagine the tape will start peeling off.

I'd lean something on the wall to cover the sockets if it rains. An old table top or door would be ideal. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
