Accidentally bought integrated washer, can I install it freestanding?

As the title says, what happens if I use an integrated washer freestanding? Will it shake itself to bits? Can u put it on wood to dampen the movements ? I don't care too much about looks :rotfl:

    Whoops!

I believe it will be fine. Any fixing to the kitchen carcass has been, from my experience, a matter of a couple of screws into the door front. Anyway, most prefab kitchens would fall apart if the washing machine so much as sneezed loudly.

No promises, mind, but wouldn't be too concerned.

Can you not return it for an exchange?

It would work perfectly well as a free standing item.

It will work perfectly well freestanding but the one problem you will have is the door springs, which will have been calibrated to hold the door plus the cabinet front. You'll find that without a door attached, the dishwasher door won't stay horizontal when open which will make loading it from empty a nuisance.

I assumed by the reference to shaking itself to bits that it is a washing machine, not a dishwasher.
