Loo fill and flexi hose

I need to replace the fill unit on the loo - the last two were a plastic thread that fitted onto a rigid copper pipe and I think the lack of flexibility is causing the inlet to leak more often than it should.
I spotted a brass thread version below.

My question is, would the brass thread from the item above directly fit to a 'tap connector' such as this

The brass thread valves are much better.
