There is no such thing as a 'sound-proof' wallpaper! At best, any such product will have a very minimal effect.
Sound-deadening is a complex task to get right, which is why so many people fail, or have to use thick barrier methods to achieve something they feel is useful.
A lot of research is required. If you cannot answer stator's question, I doubt if you will be up to it. I know that sounds rude, but I'm not trying to be confrontational, just honest. The truth is, you could waste a lot of money (and space) trying to deaden the noise with physical methods that are unsuitable.0 -
At my old place I had a noisy teenager who played his music loud late at night so I bought some ear phones and gave them to the mother of said teenager and said, "Ive bought some ear phones for your son so I dont have to listen to his music late at night " it actually worked and the late night music stopped.Be patient with me I'm old and my brain has slowed down!0

Easiest way is to look at the party wall in the loft, you will see what it's made of.butterfly25 wrote: »Silly question but how do I find out what wall we have? It's an end terrace house.
That won't tell you whether it's a solid wall or cavity wall, but you can guess that based on the year the house was built.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
