Christmas present for twin toddlers?

Thanks so much for all your suggestions!
I definitely think that a play kitchen is on the list of potential presents - so many people have said what a good idea it is...
I also like the 'Little People' sets - I know they are expensive but their cousins have them and they've lasted for ages! Are there any particular sets people would recommend as better than others?
Thanks again everyone! I'm full of ideas now...0 -
They can all interconnect. Mine used to have the train set (I have twins too!) which went in the centre and then the little house, farm, and garage all had stops on the train track (hope you understand that)
The train and farm are currently reduced in Argos

I'll see if I can find anymore0 -

How about this ^^^?
Collect at store and there's no delivery charge. Go thru' quidco for extra 5% off.
Does anybody know if you can order from the Woolies website and then pay when you pick the item up? This would be perfect for my neice and to make it even more moneysaving, I've got £30 of gift vouchers which I've had from surveys so could use them.
TIA

No but you can order in store to be delivered to store, ok you don't get your 5% quidco but you get to pay with your vouchers0 -
A slightly cheaper alternative to the FP Little People is ELC's Happy Land - and some of that's also in the Boots 3for2 at the momentDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0

Hi, I too have twin toddlers (girls) they will also be 21 months at Christmas (exactly as born 25th March 06)..
Anyway I have gone along the lines of sharing toys and not spent too much as they are still young and also don't have loads of room for toys really..I got them a few things from the 3 for 2 at Boots..I got a light up bear (a GloE bear - thought he would look a bit magical) a Happy Land pony club and a my first kitchen (last 2 things are also at ELC) so spent in total on those £40 (+ got some extra points as I bought them with some other stuff to get a £60 spend)..
I have also got them an outfit each from Tesco and a gorgeous pair of fleecy proper pyjamas each (fifi and the flowertots) and my Mum has got them the matching dressing gown and slippers...
TBH if I was to get them something each to play with (or the same thing x 2) they would each only want the one the other one was playing with at the time anyway!! they don't really understand what is their own thing yet...and also I don't want a load of double up toys around the place..
I will probably now only maybe pick up a nice jumper each and maybe some jazzy tights (see if I can resist) but they do get stuff from a lot of relatives as well..
Hope you have a fantastic Christmas with your twins....:jJun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

OMG Orchid - my girls were born on exactly the same day! Eek :T
I have to agree on the sharing/not sharing thing - whatever one has the other one wants that one - doesnt matter if there is another exactly the same sitting next to them, the one their sister has is absolutely the only one to have!
So far for Christmas they have a mini table and chairs (from one set of grandparents) and an outside play house (from the other grandparents) so I plan on getting more things they can share along with one or two special bits specifically for each of them - they do have their likes and dislikes already!0 -

Yay for more twins :j
I see what you mean - and all the little people can go in any of the sets too... I think its a good one - perhaps something some of the relatives can club together to get...0
