Santander are offering a no fee 0% card
A great offer but do be aware dont do the balance transfer until you have had the limit confirmed. They are very stingy with the limit eg for me I have moved credit card debt around often and had limits of 5,6,7k but they only gave me 1700 so didnt pay off my expiring 0% card so im off to get another card

You hope........maybe the lower credit limit is maybe an indicator that lenders view your level of available credit as a negative.
It sounds like you are a serial balance transferor (made up word). What have you done with the old cards.....are they still open with available credit?0 -
That's how credit cards work - they look at your current limits and decide what they think is best for you based on that (against income and other things)0

I was very pleasantly surprised by the credit limit I was offered a few weeks ago. I got more than 2.5 times the amount I expected - despite having 4 other cards with 'average' or higher credit limits. It meant I could do 2 BTs rather than the 1 intended.0 -
Just received my card, £7k limit so I guess as usual it is based on Individual circumstances0

I have high limits on different cards and 2 years ago when I applied for 0% transfer fees card, Sainsbury declined me, Natwest or RBOS offered such measly limit that I didn't even proceed. Then Tesco and Lloyds gave me decent limits. So it all depends on a company, customer and risk they see in you. I won't bother with Sainsbury or Natwest/RBOS in future, no point. MBNA and Barclays are the best for limits in my case.0
