What was on the order confirmation? This is what matters and not the quote. But on face value I am left speechless. You have received a kitchen that you did not "order" and it is fitted because the person you chose to install it bullied, and coerced, you into accepting something you did not want?

If you are happy now then fine. If you still wish you had grey then that is a different matter. Were I in your shoes I know what I would be saying! Plus I would not be paying full price for the kitchen.
They weren't bullied into anything, the golden rule is never to hire tradesmen until you know there are no mistakes or delays in the materials.

Tradesmen are busy and can't just take days off when the wrong stuff is delivered as they are usually booked well in advance.

It's not the OP's fault, but it's certainly not the tradesman's fault either.

Having dealt with several Kitchen Unit suppliers,I have found Howdens easier to deal with as I am fortunate enough to have 2 depots within 5 miles. If there is a fault or problem or damage, their fault or mine, items can be exchanged quickly.Their pricing is a bit of a minefield but seems to apply to most things these days.If you have the cash, you hold the whip hand and a discount can be won!!!It does pay to do your homework, check all of your order etc.etc. Sometimes difficult when you think you are ordering what you think is one thing,e.g. 3 drawer base unit and it is 5 lines on your order.
