Gmail Settings question

Quick question.
When I go into Gmail > Settings > My Email Address > Manage Notifications > Importance
I have the following options
Urgent - make sound and pop-up on screen
High - Make Sound
Medium - No sound
Low - no sound or visual interuption
I don't really understand what it means by urgent, high, medium and low. I just want to get notifications for all my emails. Can anyone help?

Set all to sound and / or popup or none , what I call urgent is none are urgent , people can send High/important etc and google has its own criteria, and your client/browser thinks they are right.
