Fresh varnish bubbling on front door.

I recently sanded and varnished my front door. Shortly after, the varnish bubbled in a few places. Someone recommended that I sand the bubbles off down to the bare wood, and leave to dry in the heat for a while as the bubbles may be die to moisture trapped in the wood.
If anyone can comment on this, and how long I should leave the wood exposed for (outer front door) that would be much appreciated.

I think you're perhaps doing the job in weather that's far too warm. Leave it until we get cooler temperatures.0
