Help with my car insurance

Hi two days ago i was approaching traffic lights on a round about as they turned green i was rolling at 5mph ready to go when a car hit into the back of me.
i got out and realised a woman had crashed into him from behind aswell, the woman said he had crashed into me casuing him to stop and crashed into him, i got home informed my insurance and thought ill make a claim through his insurance.
His insurance then said he has claimed she hit him pushing his car into mine so ive had to go through my own... they have reffered me to Auxillis a credit hire company where they take my car price up repairs and give me a car whislt mines getting fixed and all charges will be to the man who hit me, but what if she becomes liable for the crash my insurance haven't really asked about her involvement as much as i have tried to tell them they didnt seem to interested just wanted to know about the car that hit me.
Now im worried that if it is her fault(which i don't believe it is due to force i was hit, it was also a 50mph road) would they then charge me as Auxillis have only said they will claim of the man who hit me.
Also i have seen alot of bad reviews about Auxillis about people getting charged in future and why have my insursnce reffered mw straight to them i would rather the ford garage deal with repairs as i got a qoute from them and i trust it would be done properly, sorry for the long thread i need advice on what to do and can i ask my insurer to not go through with Auxillis and with a main dealer

Yes. Tell your insurer you wish them to deal with this not auxillis.
They have to if that's what you want! You will know this involves you paying your excess and reclaiming this back off the third party in due course
Your insurer will have to let you use your choice of repairer if you insist. They may throw obstacles (eg no courtesy car/ higher excess etc), but it is your right to have repairs done where you want0 -
I did not know i would have to pay my excess but it might be worth doing i really liked the sound of that Auxillis untill i read alot of bad reviews and with there being another car involved i'm worried that if the woman ended up liable Auxillis would charge me as they are only interested in pursuing the man that hit me, thanks for your comment0

Hi Callum,
We would like to look into your case further, therefore if you could please email onlineteam@auxillis.com with your reference number or vehicle registration, we will be able to identify your claim and arrange for you to be contacted directly to answer all of the questions that you have.
We would also like to clarify that all of our non-fault customers receive a free Credit Protection policy, that indemnifies you from any costs in the unlikely event that the third party insurers does not pay, as long as you have been truthful and willing to assist in the recovery.
Kind Regards,

Previously you posted about this credit protection policy, but now slip in the customer must "assist in the recovery"
What assistance does this involve. How is your customer (kindly presented to you on a plate by their insurer seemingly happy to get shot of them, no doubt for a consideration) get reimbursed for providing this "assistance"??
Hardly seems a good deal for the customer who paid for comprehensive cover from their insurer, and in the main is not used to the world of credit hire they are pushed into at a stressful time.
Is there a link to the "credit protection" policy wording we can see?0
