Asked Ebay to step in as the seller totally ignored me after I requested a full refund. Within minutes the case was found in my favour and I was refunded in full.
I'm hoping the seller gets a slap on the wrist. I have not been asked to return the item and I dont want to keep it. Part of me says message the seller and ask them to send me the postage and I will return it another part of me says pop it in the post box without any stamps or understamped :rotfl:in the hope that they go and collect it.0 -

Seller will have received a serious defect for an unresolved case and you can also leave negative feedback . FVFs will also remain payable by the seller.
Personally I would send one last email through the ebay system saying you have item xxx and will hold it until xxx date for seller to collect at your convenience . Then make a comment about if item is not collected or a confirmed collection time not agreed by xxx then you will take that as an acceptance by seller that item can be donated to a local charity shop.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I like the last email idea. Sadly I am unable to leave feedback as the sale has totally disappeared from my purchase history. Wish I had done it before I asked Ebay to help get my money back.0

A ploy by eBay.
Have a look in your other parts - cancelled orders, return and cancelled orders etc. If that fails then click your own feedback number, scroll to the bottom of your feedback page and click 'leave feedback', that should find the sale.0 -
Thank you found it in cancelled items.
Think he deserves a negative along with 'slow despatch, poorly packaged, did not mention defect, no communication'.
Would that get removed by Ebay? The chip was definately there before he posted it despite him saying in excellent condition. Looked like camera glare on the photos.
Plan to block him from bidding on anything I sell too (when I have worked out how to do it lol).0 -

That feedback should be fine. Better than blocking him (which you should do anyhow) is to open a new account for selling. Never buy and sell on the same account, there's a lot of weirdos out there who like nothing more than a bit of ebay retaliation.0 -
Am I allowed two accounts? I only sell our unwanted 'junk' sorry quality preloved items.0

You are allowed two yes, I have more than that. It is Paypal accounts that have limits, but each eBay account can be redirected to different Paypal accounts.
I have buyer, seller and offloading accounts.
Open a new eBay account and link it to your Paypal if you like, no one will know as far as buyer/sellers are concerned and it's within both eBay and Paypal rules.0 -
Thank you so much for all your help it is appreciated. Will do it later tonight and when I have something else to sell will start selling on the new account instead.0

You might be better using your existing account (which presumably has good feedback?) as your selling account, and the new account (with no feedback) as your buying account.
