Issues with Idem and Credit Score

Hi, during a six-year messy divorce, our account with Idem went terribly into arrears although I paid what I could afford each month my ex-husband paid nothing. Idem then started court proceedings and I was about to lose the house - my parents stepped in and helped me pay all the arrears on the account. Since the divorce and with a new job I am now paying more than the minimum payment and early each month and have been since July 2017- however, on Experian, I still have a red cross against each month with Idem - suggesting the account is not in order. Is there anything I can do about this - I have written to them and emailed them and have had no response in three weeks. I desperately want to repair the mess my ex-husband caused but not sure how to address this one. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

If the account is still in arrears/default then the reporting is correct0

When you say pay early. How early? Ie What day is your payment due, and when do you pay it.0

The account is completely up to date - all arrears have been paid and I pay more than the minimum payment each month. I pay a week earlier than the date as they change it each month then charge if you are late paying. Can they still black score me?0

All the arrears have been paid and I pay more than the minimum monthly due figure too. Surely they cannot still put a black mark against my credit score each month? I just need to know what their legal rights are with regard to credit score?0

Have you contacted IDEM (whoever they are) to ask?0
-
presumably you defaulted, so that's why its being marked a such0
-
Yes we did default my question is how long can they keep black marking my credit score when I have paid all arrears and the account is now paid promptly each month please?0
-
until it drops off 6 years from default date. Ignore your credit score its irrelevant.0

If your not happy make a complaint to them. Address the email as formal complaint. If they don't responf within 8 weeks you can refer it to financial ombudsmen.0
