subject access request- what it covers

Morning.
quick question - if I send a subject access request to a company that carried out work for me - an architect - do they have to send me a copy of the work they done .
I had an architect involved in planning a house extension . had some initial drawing done ,which I paid for - decided later that I would use a different company - received an invoice for what looks to me to be a rehash of the initial work that was paid for.
if I make a SAR are they legally obliged to send me all the documentation they have regarding myself and the works they carried out ?
thanks

They don't have to delve into the work they did but they are required to give a reason for processing your personal data, but that can just simply be "For completion of services"0

A subject access request would only allow you to see what personal data they hold on you.
Personal data is data that relates to a living individual and that person could be identified from that data (either on its own or together with other data).
Plans for a house extension are unlikely to constitute personal data. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
