Looking for a security camera that has 24 hour recording

Hi all


I recently purchased a security camera and it works great.


- you can live view from an app
- it has cloud storage and a 128gb memory slot
- you can adust the position of the camera 360 degrees via the app
- it has good quality audio and video


unfortunately I've just realised it only records when motion is detected.


Because I'm recording from the inside of the house, and I'm recording something outside the house (my garden), the motion recording is not what I need.


Can anyone reccomend a nice, stand alone security/cctv camera with similar features that records constantly?


I'd rather find a lone device that can do this without having to invest in a full on cctv system

Why can't you place your camera outside?

Positioning a camera behind a window won't give very good results.

Tick the setting to record 24/7. You will probably need alternative storage though.

If you do not want the camera to trigger on motion, what do you want to trigger the camera with - temperature, radio frequency detection, sound, etc?

The OP doesn't want the camera to "trigger", they want 24hr recording, as explained in their post.

To get 24/7 recording is going to use vast amounts of memory but if the OP has this then fine !!

It would probably be handy to know the purpose of this camera?

If you have only got it positioned inside because it is an indoor rated camera, it is fairly easy to get one that will do the same for outdoors. I am surprised you are getting reasonable results, there must be a lot of reflection problems with this, and it must cut down the range after dark.

Thought most no usb camers automatically stream constant video?

They only save shortish burst to card though.
