Received a partial result from the Ombudsman adjudicator with them ruling that I had been treated poorly by 1st Central is terms of customer care and the inability to change my address. They also cited being on hold for long periods of time, calls lasting over one hour and being cut off without receiving a return call as being unacceptable.

They did however rule that I could have made more attempts to change my address with them despite their internet facility having been disabled for me. Nine calls were registered with the company from me along with one email (all this was in relation to the address change), this was deemed inadequate from the adjudicator, I have asked him to have another look at this.

I have been awarded £125 for trouble and upset with the stipulation that I must call 1st Central again to change my address and guess what after 30 minutes on the call they were unable to provide me with a quote so they put me on hold for ten minutes and then terminated the call on me.
