Possible to reject car bought from dealer......

Hi
I bought a virtually new E-Class convertible on PCP on 17th May. Absolutely made up with it. It had done less than 1000 miles and had been the staff car of the dealer's main manager for four months prior to me buying it.
Initially the alarm kept going off with the fault indicator saying it as the windows. There was a slight issue with the windows "docking" properly when the roof was put up. Mercedes fixed this, windows worked fine.
I got the car back, but the alarm kept going off 10+ times a day.
Mercedes took it and investigated and it seems there is a fault with the overhead controller. They put one on order from Germany as it was out of stock in the UK. This makes me think there was a faulty batch of said controllers.
WE took the car back but had to take it back to mercedes as we couldnt keep the car on the drive with the alarm going off all the time. They have given us a courtesy car to use in the mean time and have had my car sat in their workshop overnight with the doors unlocked to stop the alarm. We were told that the part would be in on the 23rd July.
Anyway, this was over four weeks ago. The part still is not in and they don't have a delivery date for said part.
I've had the car 2.5 months and for over a month of that its been with mercedes.
At what point would I be able to say I want them to replace my car with another one. I don't want betterment I just want a car of the spec I bought - I'm even flexible over colour!

slight aside my megane was was doing this, The roof was leaking 'invisibly' water was gathering under the seat and interfering with the electrics
If its fixed by Mercedes will it not do the trick? chances are if you chance to the same model it could have the same inherent issue and back to scratch again.0 -
The problem is my convertible which is ideal for current weather is sitting with Mercedes with no estimate of when they will even get the part to fix it!
They told me his week - part not in.
It could be another three months at this rate...... and whilst the CLA They have loaned me is a nice car, it!!!8217;s not what I!!!8217;m paying for!0 -
Can they not disable the alarm until the part comes in? If they were driving it around themselves with these problems it's kind of hard to believe they didn't know about them...0

Probably not the best course of action as the insurance wouldn't pay out if it was stolen.
If it were me I would put something in the siren to quiet the alarm down and enjoy the soft top driving while I could and deal with the false alarms when they happen - at least they will be quieter!0 -

And there lies the issue. No evidence.
Our TT was in at Audi Lincoln for 7 weeks last time waiting for a part. Sometimes it is just the way it is. By all means escalate to Mercedes UK (we did with Audi and got a £250 voucher for any UK shop we wanted, a bottle of Makers Mark and a load of official Audi toys... not that sort..).
Stop overthinking, follow process.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

It was only scheduled to arrive 3 days ago?
I'd be escalating to the Service Manager / Sales manager to get a precise date for the part and see what they come back with.0
