My aunt had some work done and informed her insurers - I think that they charged her a bit extra while this was going on.
Because of this, I thought I had better do so when we had some serious building work going on - I phoned them and they were less than interested! Seems to depend on the insurer.0 -
I'm going to check the wording on my documents and report back. We had some significant building work done last year & yes I informed them.
They put in place a number of indemnities & removed accidental damage.
