Indigo station Parking fine - Driver named in haste

Hello all,

I have spent the last hour reading the NEWBIEs thread and other Indigo threads.
One thread was an excellent overview of what to do if you have not named the Driver on the initial appeal, however for this instance the Driver of the car in question did appeal and the Driver did name themselves on that appeal....

The Driver (now known to Indigo) has received a rejection to the appeal. (Even though they bought a ticket and it clearly fell off the dashboard but I wont go there!!)

So my question is for people who hastily appealed on Indigo website and named the Driver....

What do they do now??
thank you!

Read up on railway station byelaws cases

Don't fret about naming the driver

With byelaws it's the owner who should not be named.

After 6 months without a summons you can forget it

As Q says, 6 months is the critical point in Railway Byelaws cases, so you need to slowly string this (and Indigo) along to pass that time point. Do a forum search on 'Indigo ping pong' to read about tactics to employ.
HOW TO USE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION:

Use the Forum Jump button (one near the top and one near bottom of this page) to get back to the forum thread list. Just above the threads, on the right, is a heading along a line, next to forum tools, called 'Search this Forum'. Put your key word(s) in and change the default search from 'Show Threads' to 'Show Posts'.
Which Train Operator (TOC) is involved please?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thank you so much, I was wondering what TOC was - Operator is Southern / Thameslink from my station.

I shall string it out as long as possible - My only concern is my wife who will get very stressed when the debt collectors write us us :(

    PoNo need to.

It's junk mail. She doesn't get upset about that !!

And you say they know the driver so she won't be getting any debt collectors letters

    Thank you Q.

    so....

    1. Reply (after some time) to rejection using info from "ping pong" threads
    2. Ignore Debt Collectors
    3. After 6 months can relax

I think they make so much because for £60 many many people will say its not worth the stress.

Final question - will it affect my credit rating??

Hello, Indigoo parking question - do I reply by email or by letter?
I am going to ask 1 question at a time - first being who owes the money, is it the keeper, driver or owner of the vehicle?
    Thanks!
