Your nearest indecent tyre fitter should be able to get you something suitable, likely a van/trailer tyre, and should be able to decipher the codes.
Have you looked up the specs of the trailer to see what tyres it recommends? It's not impossible that what you have on aren't ideal.

An equivalent sized car tyre will get you home, but ideally you want one with a stonger sidewall.

If the existing tyres say 175R13 on them, so no height stated, that means they are effectively 80 (or 82, but it makes no difference) profile.

etyres (first online tyre retailer I tried) have a selection in 175/80R13, all with a load rating of 97, which appears sufficient to your needs.

Thanks both, trailer is Bantam and was dissolved in 2014, etyres don't state ply rating and don't deliver to France.
I will go into town and see what the local tyre place can do but when I look at their website no results come up.

Try going up 10mm on the width.

There are some Nankang CW25 8 ply. 800 kg load. 50 Euro each.

Thanks will look, but is 10mm extra safe and what about the insurance which states only manufacturers recommended size tyres to be used?

Have you got anything written that says what the tyre size should be?
