Small sports club bank account

Hi everyone, apologies if this isn't in the right section.
I'm looking to set up a bank account for a small basketball club I will be treasurer for. We don't have a lot of income, but just want a bank account to be able to collect player fees and cover costs for referees for games etc.
I've been looking at various club bank accounts and many of them mention "free day to day banking", but when you look in to the terms and conditions it looks like there may be a monthly fee for the account after a 12 or 18 month free period.
Could anyone advise a good bank to use for this, as I'd rather not be paying for an account when it will be used in such a simple fashion.
Thanks,
Gary

I had seen the second link but not the first.
Lloyds was one I haven't tried from the information you gave me and just had a friend recommend them.
After a quick call I definitely think I'll be going with them so thanks for your advice!0 -
Both my brownies and Guide bank accounts are with lloyds, and we dont have a high income and its used for termly payments and trips payments in and out, and of course small payments to cover equipment.

I'm treasurer for a small-medium charity and we use Santander. However they have given us the run-around on several occasions so I wouldn't really recommend them for ease of use.

When we started a small spin-off charitable trust I therefore went with Co-op for that.

Both of the above are free as long as your turnover isn't above a certain level.0
