Car Insurance - Broken Window - 4 weeks and counting

No point not naming the insurer
Many of them monitor this forum and get alerted when there name is mentioned and jump in to attempt damage limitation
But yes, as having only one uncertain solution to a problem is never a safe way to proceed, (two possibles are better!) I think I would already have been to the Hyundai dealer service desk not body repair shop and found out how soon can you do it and is a morning enough?
If its soon enough and a morning is enough, then you can tell the insurer that's the best plan for them to agree.0 -
The insurance company is Admiral.
Today on their 6th visit, Autoglass managed to replace the perspex with glass. Unfortunately, it has a large scratch down it so will need replacing again. They also managed to order the wrong part for the switch panel that they damaged so that is still broken.
On the positive side, they're making progress slowly and the vehicle is usable on the motorway again. On the negative side, i'm going to require a 7th sppointment, possibly more for what should have been a simple window replacement.
