Hmmmmmm now please tell me why I was sitting like a muppet for 3 hours at Manc airport yesterday bored silly?
The flight will be packed with Ricky Hatton fans too. Mine was. Never got my normal 4 seats to myself. Not impressed

Been up since 3am today. I hate jet lag. But am loving the rate for today!!!

Flights to the States have been packed the past few times I've been - a couple of years ago I would have a full four seats to snooze on no problem. Gutting.

Though, having said that, I'm normally sitting in the area where everyone is coughing and sneezing, snoring or dribbling... or worse and doing so in my direction so maybe when I head over I might don a mask Wacko Jacko style.

Cable has extended north to threaten touted offers at 1.4800 after tripping
buy stops above 1.4775, as the USD continues to suffer on the back of pre-FOMC
statement nervousness. Further buy stops reportedly reside above the figure.
1.4815 was last week"s high (Apr 20).

The greenback took a big hit on the back of the statement issued at the
conclusion of last month"s FOMC meeting (March 18), with GBP/USD leaping by more
than six cents in less than 24 hours (from 1.3955). Today"s FOMC statement will
be released at 18:15GMT (as is the norm).
