14:25 20Mar09 GBP/USD: Runs into Resistance Just Shy of 1.4515
[14:24 GBP/USD: Runs into Resistance Just Shy of 1.4515] London, March 20. Cable
has met a headwind just shy of 1.4515 (today"s Asian session top) after rallying
off a fractionally fresh intra-day low of 1.4395, as pre-weekend volatility
continues. 1.4600 is a key resistance level north of 1.4515, with cable having
topped out ahead of the figure on two separate occasions over the past 24 hours
(ahead of the 16:00GMT London fix yesterday, and in early European trade today).
Gain consolidation from Wednesday"s post-UK jobless data low of 1.3844 is the
big-picture story, with the Fed"s "Quantitative Easing" plan underpinning.
Sterling was trading at 1.3955 into Wednesday"s 18:15GMT FOMC statement. 1.4157
was yesterday"s low (plumbed in Asia). Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
