My prediction - you are wrong ! We will see new lows today.
oh well done Teach.
one bad morning of fx trading for the pound, and you can predict a whole year can you?
todays falls are based on nothing more than a quiet market with no other news around other than a few articles and stories over the weekend about UK Banks, and the Bank of England.....Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

12:53 09Mar09 Sterling extends losses; down 2 pct vs dlr below $1.38
LONDON, March 9 - Sterling extended its slide on global currency markets on Monday, shedding 2 percent against the dollar to trade below $1.38 on mounting concern over the UK banking sector and evaporating UK government bond yield advantage.
By 1250 GMT the pound had fallen more than 2 percent to a six-week low of $1.3778 <GBP=> and the euro was up more than 1.5 percent on the day to 91.19 pence, a 5-1/2 week high, Reuters charts showed.
This marks sterling's steepest one-day fall against the dollar and euro in a month.
Sterling sentiment soured on Monday after Britain's government upped its stake in Lloyds Banking Group, while the yield on Britain's benchmark ten-year gilt fell below 3 percent on Monday for the first time in at least 50 years.
The Bank of England said last Thursday it would start buying gilts as part of its "quantitative easing" programme to try and boost the money supply, fight off deflation and kickstart the economy. Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

LOL ! Not sure why you are being such an !!! ? You did tell us all that last week things were going to be much better, and substantiated this with "Trust me, I know things." Looks like you know Jack to me.
New 6 week low reached lunch time today - who is more right? your prophetic high or the reality of a new low ?
I'm not trying to be nasty, unlike you, but i think it is very unfair that you come on here and give people who do not understand the system false hope and tell them things will get better in the next week, when in actual fact, they won't, and don't. It is not fair to meddle with people that way.
There is a difference between being positive and being a fantasist, personally, I think you are the latter.0 -
From a low of 1.37 just 30 minutes or so ago, are we now seeing a recovery beginning?
