hitting 79s it shouldn't take long to get into single figures. you just need to do the same in the comps0 -

Morning all, aint been on too much lately. Trading is a bit volotile to say the least and figures that come in strangely contradict what the market does later. It's all a bit mad in forex trading just now
Good time on the golf front their Neil, do you play at a pitch and putt?0 -
09:37 06Mar09 Gbp little changed post data, two UK clearers noted sellers
09:36 GMT - Firmer than forecast UK PPI numbers (though some softer revisions) are having little initial impact on [GBP], largely as expected. Cable is just a touch lower around 1.4215/20, down well over half a cent from earlier 1.4290 highs. Contacts say two UK clearers (largely vs the Euro) are responsible for the softer Gbp prices. Having gotten 'bulled up' on
talk of topside stops through 1.4330, we would not be surprised to see some short-termers bail below 1.4200 and 1.4175/80.Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

tell me about it. regularly break 40 for 9 practicing but then go back in the mid 80's in comps. there again. only played 6 comps last year. played first one of the year last week and got -6 in a bogey. not good. handicap changed from 12.5 to 12.6.
Pitch and putt? you cheeky monkey. Lichfield Golf and Country club don't you know! and they do have a pitch and putt there.. but i'm on the big boys course
here's a claim to fame of mine. i'm technically a pro anyway so shouldn't be in club competitions.
played a corporate day last year at moor hall in sutton coldfield. nice course. on the par 3's there were prizes. £1000 cash, new saab 9-3 convertible, 5 day break for 2 in portugal and a new set of nike slingshots.
i stand on the tee of the 2nd. 150 yard par 3. elevated green.
hit my 8 iron. turn away in disgust as i hit it fat. anyway, flies through the air and bounces just infront of the green. dead in line with the pin (i'm sure you've all guessed the ending). blokes playing with me say "ooh... that'll be close".
so the other 3 tee off and we walk up to the green. i'm trying to peep over to see my ball. no sign. get up to the green... still no sign.
the 2 blokes i'm playing with are from the company who put the prize up for that hole (£1000 cash). one is a pretty loud australian. who, while walking to the green come out with the following immortal lines
"f&*k me mate, that's close"
"f&*k me mate, i think it's in"
"f&*k me mate, IT IS IN"
"f&*k me mate, that's just cost me a f&*king grand"
turns out they never bought the cash and sent a cheque a couple of days later!
got the 8th where the car was and the lady from the saab garage says (after hearing from the others on my hole in 1)
"you got a hole in 1 on the second? that's the hole we wanted to sponsor!" then says,
"our next thought was to sponsor all par 3's any hole in 1 meant a car"
i asked if this offer could be re-added... it couldn't
if you accept more than £500 you are officially a pro... so everyone.. keep quiet0 -
Well done mate, i've had the privilege myself however my shot was a well hit sand iron down hill 121 yards on the last, hit around 3 yards past the pin and spun back in. (Pro V1s work a treat)
.
Cost my £250 but what a feeling.
I play in Scotland buddy so don't know your course.0 -
