If the SAME mattress is £2000 today, then 3.5 years ago it would have been say £1800.
They should be offering £180 less 35% of usage for the 3.5 out of 10 years you have used it.
£1170 would be reasonable.
The problem the OP has is that they don't know how much the mattress was. As it was only £2000 for the whole package including base and headboard, I think your estimate on the mattress is on the high side.0
