Might be a silly question but are the PS2 games compatible with the PS3 my son wants a PS3 for xmas but has loads of PS2 games for his PS2 dont want to have to buy more games as they are so expensive???

    As far as I know the 60 gb version is, but not all ps2 games........bit of info HERE..

    Sorry, it does just give you a run down to say that the 60 gb are ok for some software and does say the 40 gb version doesnt HERE, and finally....pc is slow at the moment.......there is a checker fromn sony to see what games are compatable HERE
