Smarty Mobility scooter - can i get a spare key cut??

Currently someone i know has a mobility scooter but wants an additional key. can these keys be cut?? price range??? need to only contact the supplier??

These tend to be very standard - go to your supplier - he's probably got a drawer full.

Smarty do not have a show room that i am aware of.

If it's a round thing that looks like a short bit of steel bar, just use a bolt the same sort of length that's not a loose fit in the slot.

If it looks like a small padlock key any high street key cutting service, such as Timson (I think they are called) will cut one or even 2 for a fiver.

EDIT - If you know anyone with some other make of scooter, try their key - a lot of them have the same key, it might even work.

Thank you but it is not the fob i am looking to replace, but the actual key you put into the scooter itself
