Hi we had a loan from Friends Provident raised against our mortgage endowment policies but as they have now been bought out how do we go about finding out if we had PPI on the loan, I'm fairly sure we did but who is now responsible?

You could raise a complaint with Aviva (who hold the Friends' Provident book now). If these were policy loans, I very much doubt you had any PPI on them. I do not believe FP retailed General Insurance products (but maybe I'm wrong).0
