Hello,
I am coming to the end of my contract and want to upgrade my phone. I have looked at the Samsung S8 on the e2save website and they have some great deals for new customers on EE. I am currently with Vodafone and I thought I'd ring them to see if they could offer something similar.
They can't get neat the deal but told me that if I buy off a 3rd party seller then I don't have the same rights as an EE customer. He said I would effectively be a second rate customer. He said I wouldn't get 12 months warranty on my handset or be able to use my data abroad in the EU.
Is this true? I can't believe it is and can't find anything that confirms this online.
I have got my PAC code and just wanted to check before I sign up to EE. I would be saving £200 over 24 months.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks
Ameet

Of course it's not true, worthy of a complaint to Vodafone at least in my opinion.0

There was an almost identical post here a few weeks about 3 saying the same. Deja Vu?0
