Hi,
Does anyone out there know if I can prevent my bank and credit card company from sharing my financial data with 3rd parties e.g. Experian ?
I was wondering if the new GDPR regulations has an effect on this flow of information.
Thanks,
Nick

Do you think you'll never need/want a credit card/loan/mortgage ever again, in your life? If you do, then you'll need this data to be shared to the CRAs.
I would recommend reading this.

So it's unlikely you'll get anywhere. Then it's up to you to fight it in the courts.0 -

You could close all your accounts and wait 6 years and never use a product that REQUIRES credit history notification (hint all of them) again.
No GDPR changes nothing.
Do let us know how you get on.0 -
Nope, you can't stop it. Under GDPR they have a legitimate interest to share your details, so they are well within the law.0

No. They are required to share this information0

That's answered that question then . . . thanks for the quick replies.
