If someone was arriving by train at a London rail station in a wheelchair, is there a known taxi service that transports to a London hospital (and back later)

I usually use Addison Lee when in London, they offer wheelchair taxis as long as you have pre-booked.

Otherwise try PALS team at the Hospital concerned who may well have a list.0 -
All London 'black cabs' are wheelchair accessible. The new electric taxis are apparently much nicer for wheelchair users.
And using Travel Assistance means the station staff meeting you on arrival will know that you want to use a taxi for onward travel.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Having visited London recently with my small mobility scooter, I can confirm that all black cabs are now wheelchair accesible (thay are fitted with a ramp to push the chair up into the cab), and I can tell you that the black cab drivers are wonderfully helpful, generally helping to push the chair in/out, in my case one even decided to lift my scooter in (me not on it), as was quicker. One driver even refused to take a tip from us.
You will have no problem at all.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0
