Tools needed for concrete walls

Hi all,
I am about to move into my first home shortly and it is a concrete build. I have heard drilling holes into concrete is harder than usual and requires powerful tools. Can anyone recommend me what drill shall I get for any holes in the wall? Or putting nails in the wall etc
Will I need a combi drill or a drill driver will suffice?
Thanks

You'll need an SDS drill with good quality drillbits. Don't underestimate the difference good bits makes.
Do you just need to drill holes for wallplugs for fitting shelves etc, or larger holes for pipes/cables?
SDS drill, what to look forA kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
